Cataracts, a risk of statins?
Take a look at : http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/266445.php
The use of statins has been problematic at times, but its benefits are largely clear.
If your risk factors for cardiovascular disease are significant, which poses the greater risk, heart attack or cataracts.
To me, it's a no brainer;heart attacks have the potential to kill while cataracts, while annoying, are easily treatable.
There's rarely a free ride in medicine. You takes your choice.
