This did not surprise me as much as I thought it would. It is good to know how a doctor MIGHT respond to a life threatening disease if I or my 92 year old Mom were to get one. Yes I believe in quality of life rather then quantity. There has been a disparity about treating different age groups for a long time now-I remember when it started-in the late 1970's-I happened to work in the bookkeeping office of a hospital at the time.
